Zana Zana

Zana in your group

Zana is not only games. It welcomes new members, stops bots with a captcha, keeps your rules where everyone can read them, and writes down every moderation action.

The admin panel

24 settings, all of them inside Telegram: write /menu in your group and open Admin. Only your group's own administrators see it, and nothing here can be changed from this website.

What Zana handles on its own

Zana is quiet by default

For the first 24 hours in a new group Zana only answers what it is asked. After that it announces at most 3 things an hour, and anything above that waits for the daily summary instead of interrupting the chat. An admin can switch it on straight away, or hush it again, from the group menu.

Flood control, on by default

More than 8 messages from the same person inside 10 seconds and Zana steps in. Nobody has to switch it on and nobody has to tune it.

Joining and leaving, decided separately

Each one can be set to three states: the group sees it, only admins see it, or off. Admin-only sends the notice to the admins' private chats instead of the group, so a busy chat is not filled with departures. The welcome card is in layers too — who invited them is one switch, and the joiner's time, ID and username is another, off until an admin wants it.

One welcome, the way you want it

The welcome can carry the newcomer's profile photo, or a picture you pick yourself — reply to the prompt with a photo and its caption becomes the text. When the join check is on, the newcomer is greeted once instead of twice: your words appear the moment they verify. And if the join notice is off, the settings screen tells you before you spend time writing a welcome nobody would see.

The arcade is not a chat game

Most of the games are played in the chat with messages. A few are not: they open inside Telegram with graphics and sound, and the score still comes back to the group. Telegram marks those with its own app badge, so you can tell them apart at a glance.

Who holds the group record

Every finished arcade game is filed against the group it was played from. Beat your own best and you are told; beat everybody and the group hears it. The board shows the top five per game. Leaving the group takes you off the board and coming back puts you on it again, with your scores.

Groups switch Zana on by bringing one of their admins into the Zana community.

All of it is set up inside Telegram, by the group's own admins. Zana has no web control panel — nothing about your group can be changed from this site.
